Keyvan Jafari


 

Keyvan Jafari (born March , 1993, in Sari, Iran) is a freelance photographer specializing in people, architecture, nature, and everyday life. His work focuses on visual stories of cities, traditional and modern buildings, cultural spaces, and quiet moments of daily life in both urban and rural areas.

He holds a Diploma in Cinematography, a Bachelor’s degree in Photography, and a Master’s degree in Art Research. This academic background, together with years of practical experience, allows him to approach photography with both an artistic and analytical perspective. His images often explore the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit: streets, historical monuments, marketplaces, and natural landscapes.

Throughout his career, Keyvan has worked as a freelance photographer on various cultural and artistic projects, collaborating with magazines, agencies, and art institutions. His portfolio includes series on architecture, cultural events, portraits, landscapes, and everyday life.

Over more than a decade of activity, he has been selected, exhibited, or awarded in over one hundred national and international photography festivals and competitions. His work has appeared in or been recognized by platforms and contests such as the Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest, Siena International Photo Awards, Drone Awards, UNESCO’s Silk Road Youth Photography Competition, Khayyam International Photo Festival, Montanha International Photography Contest, Water Integrity Network (WIN) Photography Competition, and several other international awards and group exhibitions.
His photographs have also been featured in Hahnemühle magazine (Germany), where a selection of his works has been published as a photo series.
